Why AccliMate™?

Conventional acclimation of aquarium fish is done by simply floating the bag from the aquarium store on the water’s surface of your aquarium, until both water temperatures are matched. What the store often won’t tell you is that this method only matches ONE parameter, while aquatic creatures are sensitive to MANY parameters (temperature, pH, gH, kH, specific gravity, etc).

Not introducing all of these parameters in a calculated and controlled manner, can put your fish under unnecessary stress, reduce immunity and in some cases may ultimately lead to an early death.

AccliMate™ ensures ALL water parameters are matched gradually over time, using an adjustable siphon to slowly and steadily introduce your aquarium water to your new residents. This ensures a gentle adjustment of water parameters, minimising the risk of shock, stress and suffering to your livestock.
