First time driving a CRT: first spot 3
I have been given a 1CP1 CRT and this is the first signs it works. Been thinking of making an NBTV (narrow bandwidth TV) monitor with it. I have schematics, and CD with test pattern signals (from NBTV.org) and 99% to basically all of the components. Just waiting for the PCB I designed to come from the Fab.
Jesus. I would be too scared to play with that thing. Good for you though, that sounds like a really cool project that you’ll learn a whole heck of a lot working on.
Nothing like fresh X-rays in the morning 😉
What voltage is the HT?
Cool project. I’ve wanted to build a small CRT clock, but was put off by the complexity and expense. Please keep us updated.
