   i highly recommend this book: [Planar Microwave Engineering](https://libgen.li/edition.php?id=138782057)

   it answers many “beginner questions” that quite a few old RF engineers do not know, like why do we really have 50ohm lines or what does it physically mean if a line has 50ohm etc…
