I am cleaning the precious junk from my lab. I have no idea when, why, or where I acquired this assembly with two BIG rectifier diodes (IR 70USR25P). One of these days it’s going in the trash. Not today, though.
Now you know you can’t nag the wife about all her crap. 🤣🤣
Wooohooo. I bet those contain copious amounts of smoke!

I typically see those in older rectifying welders.
You should see the puck-style rectifiers.
I though that was some sort of creature
Also used in older electric forklifts/ equipment using the GE EV controls as well as other control systems
Crystal set for those really intense broadcasts.
