How did you find out?
It took me almost as long to realize the bus bars are split in the middle.
I had one of these. It would burn me from time to time, then I would forget to toss the bad board. Rinse and repeat for like a decade. Terrible.
This is why you don’t buy the cheap Amazon special breadboards.

I had one of these that came with one of the cheap arduino kits way back when. I took the adhesive backing off for a project, removed it, put it back into the bin and kept using it like that without thinking about it, basically randomly shorting against whatever was on my bench and ended up melting a giant portion of it.
Good times.
