  1. Is your dad James Bond?!

  2. That must weight alot ?

  3. I just use the hammer for all my jobs

  4. Hammer and a hacksaw? If I opened my case at a client site with a hammer in it, there’d be some screaming going on.

  5. Man I wish I could be as neat and organized as you.

If I had to bring this stuff back and forth everything in this photo would have been sloppily thrown into a duffel bag with some sweaters and t shirts for cushioning.

Seems like a lot of wasted space with the foam. Are you paying the whole extra bag fee? Seems like it’d be cheaper to just mail it via FedEx/UPS ground.

  6. I envy your organizational skills, this is very clean. 💯

  7. Neat..
What kind of foam is that red stuff? Is it cheap?

  8. You’re committed! The only things I bring home from Uni is my computer and my bottle of lotion 😬

  9. Nice setup! I highly recommend the Miniware Minidso MDP-01 and MDP-P905 portable bench power supply. Super small package (and lightweight) but easily capable to provide you with 30V/5A. I carry mine in a nice zipped bag in my bag all the time. They also make the famous TS100 & T80 soldering irons that rival more expensive bench variants.

  10. I think I literally just drooled a little. A+, wonderful kit!!

  11. Damn im jealous, did you make it yourself or did u buy is somewhere?

  12. What I’d do for a practical course, I tried a masters last year but it was five days a week lectures😬 ran out of steam far too quickly.

  13. I guess fitting the ‘scope was out of the question? 😂

  14. That is pretty. I respect a person who takes good care of their tools. Thanks for sharing!

  15. Love that calculator. Cheap, with enough functionality for everything you’re gonna need it for

  16. Interested to see! Funny enough I am currently working on my own. Defensively gave me some ideas!

  17. Respect to the proper shadowboxing of tools 🙂

  18. Jesus, you should see how I do it. It looks like I just threw up a bunch of tools in a backpack. TSA gives me a lot of shit.

  19. One day, you might settle down, and not need to ship tools as often. You might gain access to a laser cutter, and do a little low-quality wood working.

    Here’s mine:

  20. Very nice stuff, I pack them all into a small drawer. BTW why some one want to carry this to uni-home-uni… ?

  21. This is beautiful,…I’ve been looking at this for more than five hours

  22. Why the lone razor blade?

  23. The stuff stays in the top lid, or is there a piece that lays between when closed?

  24. Very cool setup! If you ever find yourself pushed for space, there are much smaller options for benchtop power supplies. I just built one from a DPS5005 that’s 48v 5a and about 1/3 the size of the one you have. Lots of enclosure designs on thingiverse etc.

  25. I’m wondering how the stuff stays in the foam when you close it.

  26. Do you really need to carry this around with you? I mean, if you are studying EE or similar, I expect the uni to have a lab, even if it’s crusty old equipment.

  27. EE???!

    Damn, that’s impressive AF!

  28. My OCD senses are tingling. Even has space for expansion.

    Nicely done! 👍
