That’s a [blocking oscillator](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blocking_oscillator), also known as a [joule thief](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joule_thief) – first [patented in 1937](https://patents.google.com/patent/US2211852) š
Don’t be sad that it already exists, independently inventing things for a second time means that you’re on the right track!
That’s a joule thief without a load, a great way to fry a transistor.
Put an LED across the transistor and it will light up even at 1.5v input voltage, it’s a simple boost converter.

do the free wheele thing, basicly put a diode so the current cant go back to the transistor, i am 16 my experience is very little i just learnned that today
