  1. An IC with components likely placed per the datasheets recommendations, with the addition of some thickass traces

  2. I’m gunna go with disposable camera flash circuit. Theres be a lot of those lying around the world. And explain the thickass traces and big capacitor.

  3. Note : I would like to add that i found a USB Port, a On/Off Switch, and 3 Capacitors on this PCB

  4. I don’t understand the problem. The lines on top are only silk screen printing. The circuit itself looks fairly normal. They’re not traces exactly, but instead large copper areas.

  5. And the fact that the top part of the PCB has been broken of?

  6. Looks like a USB car charger. 12V in, 5V out. Switching power supply. Many use MC34063A IC

    Probably came out of something like this:

    The ‘camera iris” icon may have actually marked the position of an inductor.

    Smartest thing would have been to leave the board assembled.

    Could also have been a step up converter from 3.7V lithium battery or two AA cells to 5V. Possibly from a disposable one time use “top up”
