Is this Harry Portman’s relay computer?
Well now I’m curious about this. Just what the hell?
It’s the [Megaprocessor](https://youtu.be/lNa9bQRPMB8), and there’s a few video walkthroughs of it. If you want to see a computer made from gates, [Ben Eater](https://eater.net/8bit/) posts some fantastic videos of a breadboard computer.
EDIT: [Here’s a channel](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCB_Zl-VNSH5DLAtG40riCCg) with some of the build videos and demos of the Megaprocessor by its creator
Yo processor’s so fat, when it sits around the house, it SITS AROUND the house.
Cray so called super computer was a single processor like this
Pr0n? Crysis? Mining? Minesweeper?
Top clock speed is 40kHz 😉
I don’t know much about processors but what I do know is that Tom Scott did a video here
Is this the background Tom Scott uses in some of his videos?
micro?
does tom scott use this area as a backdrop for his compsci videos?
Massachusetts or England?
They stuck it in the break room?
wouldn’t it be called a “Macroprocessor” because it’s large?
also dammit i still want to make a TTL CPU but it’s just so many damn gates
But can it run Doom?
The balls to call it micro
Microprocessor?
Holy cow,I want to go there
World’s largest MICRO processor, think about what you just said for a minute there.
