  1. The 360 vertical tubes in the back are Leyden jar capacitors for a total of 400 µF capacitance. I am guessing 10 kV.

    The whole apparatus is a 25 kW spark gap radio transmitter built by Siemens.

  3. Love the safety standards before mid 1900s. Casually standing next to a 400uF 10kV capacitor that can probably turn you into a heap of charcoal in a moment.
