Putting together a guitar tremolo pedal kit as a first big project 4

I’ve tinkered a bit with soldering here and there but haven’t done anything proper other than like a blinking LED circuit.

Funnily enough, this pedal works by modulating the blinking of an LED light, and only allowing signal to pass through when it’s on.

Well, assuming I get any signal at all once I’m done 🙈

  1. Velleman makes great kits. Keep the iron tip clean, and know what a good solder joint looks like. That looks like a new iron, so tin the tip first.

  2. Get a flux pen, your solder joints will be much better.
