Found in amongst a collection of recovered capacitors, it even has the cross stamped on the bottom for pressure relief. Not sure where it has come from, likely dropped in the box a long time ago and mistaken for a capacitor.
Despite the label, in English it’s a “cell”, not a “battery”.
(The Chinese language has only one word for both.)
this is kinda cool
This is a clearly labelled Li-ion cell. It’s not in the body of a cap. Not even a little bit.
assigned capacitance at birth
Also have one. IIRC used in vapes and some plasma lighters.
I’ve been seeing these in cheap devices lately. Intriguing little guys indeed.
Aren’t capacitors usually marked with –
That’s confusing as hell
Wouldn’t this be significantly worse than the normal rectangular shaped ones? Particularly for heat dissipation?
Cylinders would build a higher core heat compared ro a flat rectangle.
I mean I guess as long as Li-ion batteries don’t become unstable in high temperatures.
Slow cap? lol
I like the terrible English translation
“Don’t decomposition and short circuit, forbid burn and damage the battery”
Takes a bit longer to discharge by shorting then?
That’s a Li-ion battery in the body of a Li-ion battery.
The black stripe denotes the negative side of a capacitor
