  1. This a quick proof of concept experiment. I have a rotating disc with copper tape with a wire connected to 12v touching the disc acting as a janky slip ring. From the disc, another wire points upward and connects to different tracks of copper. Each of those feeds into switches, which then go into the VCA, allowing you to set the pattern.

  2. So the mechanism is a 16th or 8th note quantizer? And you can choose whether to trigger on each contact revolution?

  5. Not too far off how some primitive drum machines worked, such as in home organs of the 1960s and 1970s, when they were popular.
