The first issue, you might see in the bottom left is the fuse is wrapped in foil. I had tried powering the TV from my lab bench supply and it didn’t turn on. Because I don’t currently have the required fuse, I jumpered the burnt fuse with a short piece of wire and tried again.
The tv turns on and after a second I hear static. So I think the tuner may be working. It didn’t pick up any stations but didn’t have an external antenna connected. That had been broken off.
The tube appears to momentarily power on and I can briefly see a thin vertical line. Sometimes it is wiggly like a waveform on an oscilloscope.
Tried moving contrast and brightness around but I never get visible static on the tube. I had the thought to look at the underside of the board for any broken solder joints. Anybody have any ideas?
