It’s super dim in broad daylight but very noticeable in low light situations. If you power it with 2 CR2032 coin cells in series it should run for up to 1-2 years (extreme guesstimate) but I think I can fairly significantly increase the battery life with some modifications.
just set it to a steady dim glow instead of random flash.
Do people not have wall switches anymore?
Does this use a 555 timer? I’m really interested in building my wife’s grandfather a cheap blinking light for his fishing buoys. I’d love to see your schematic.
I would just have gone with a zigbee bulb! Although, it is always more rewarding doing it the “hard” way.
Can’t you buy those little glow in the dark plastic things that go on the end of the string?
