  1. Got into a huge argument with your significant other because you forgot to water their plants when they were off on a business trip and their favorite ficus started wilting? Will she not speak to you because she thinks you’re irresponsible and “if she cant trust you to look after a plant for a couple of weeks how can she trust you with anything else?”

Introducing the solar charged soil moisture alarm! Simply put the resistive water sensor into the plants soil and make sure the sun shines on the solar panel and the circuit will flash an alarm LED if the soil gets too dry. Should run for many many years without any intervention as long as it gets at least an hour of sunlight every 2-3 days or so. With this Stacey will have to take you back!

    Please come back Stacey…

  2. Trust is a big thing for Stacey and I think she should give you another chance. You have gone above and beyond the call to make sure it won’t happen again. Very good job. By the way, excuse my ignorance of modern day software but what are we seeing that show the circuit schematic and real time action of the components and waveforms? Thank you.

  3. You might want to also try capacitive moisture sensors as those kinds of resistive type sensor prongs tend to break over a short period of time

  4. Wow, what software is that cool

  5. What app is that? Or did you write it on your own

  6. WAIT, YOU CAN INPUT SIGNALS INTO ALL CIRCUTS?!

  7. Sensor will not last long at all, been there done that…
    Gave up

  8. I used capicative sensors, gathered all moisture data, then fertilised the plants…

All data changed, inconsistent readings with soil ph, temperature and even type of water…

Tap water, river water and rain water all affect the readings.

    Cheers
